About
My Background
I am a senior leader in the Information Technology industry, with 13 years of experience leading organizations, teams, and projects. I’ve spent most of my career consulting in the Software Industry around process improvement, High-Performance Teams, and Research & Development.
I started my career in the U.S. Air Force, where I gained experience leading people as well as technical skills in networking and software engineering . After leaving the Air Force, I spent several years in project/program management before stepping into more senior leadership roles.
Once I finished my degree in Business Administration, I had the amazing opportunity to study Innovation and Leadership at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I then tested those skills leading an Agile Software R&D team at a local health care company for several years. I am now the Director of a project and program management organization at one of the largest Cisco resellers in the country.
My Interests
My best friend, and beautiful wife, Sherry, is most important in my life. Sherry is my rock and inspiration. Consequently, I spend as much free time with her as possible. However, when I’m not spending time with my family or my colleagues, I like to read, play the guitar, sketch, cook, and work out. I am passionate about leadership, teams, living life with abandon, and trying to leave the world a little bit better than when I first arrived.
